Event Details

The 2025 Australasian Lymphology Association Symposium (ALA 2025) will be held at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges. The event will be held on Ground Floor and Level 1, with the main area being the Southern Cross Ballroom Function Area.  

Venue Address: 46-54 Marine Terrace, Fremantle WA 6160

Upon arrival, please collect your name badge at the registration desk located in the Southern Cross Ballroom Lobby on the Ground Floor. If you have trouble locating the Ballroom Function Area, please ask at the hotel front desk (which is to the right side of the main entrance) for directions.

Getting to the venue

Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges sits in the heart of cosmopolitan Fremantle and is less than 30 minutes from Perth. Please see the hotel's information about Directions & Parking. 

Allocated workshop sessions

Please be informed that the preselected workshops cannot be changed, especially as the Friday is fully booked. Your preselected workshops are below and are printed on the backside of your name badge.

We are delighted to share the full conference program with you which can be accessed here. Please be informed that there will be a printed version of the program in the Delegate Handbook. However, there already have been changes to the program since it was printed. Therefore, please refer to the Event App for the most-up to date version of the program.

Below is an overview of main session times for the symposium. 

Friday 16th May 

  • 8:00 am: Registration & Exhibition Open 

  • 9:00 am - 5:00 pm: Workshop Sessions

  • 5 pm - 7:00 pm: Networking Reception at the Exhibition Area

Saturday 17th May 2025

  • 7:00 am: Registration for Breakfast Session open

  • 7:30 am - 8:30 am: Breakfast Sessions Haddenham Healthcare & OPC Health

  • 8:15 am: Registration Desk and Exhibition open

  • 8:45 am - 4:30 pm: Plenary Sessions

  • 4:30 pm - 5:00pm: ALA AGM (Members only)

  • 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Evening Symposium Cocktail Function at Bathers Beach House

Sunday 30th August 

  • 8:30 am: Registrations & Exhibition Open

  • 9:00 am - 12:30 pm: Workshop Sessions

  • 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm: Farewell Lunch

Catering

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are included in your registration. Catering will be in the exhibition area and pre-function area.

Breakfast Sessions

If you have been confirmed to attend a breakfast session, please arrive 5 - 10 minutes earlier as the session start time. The breakfast will be available before the session starts so delegates can enjoy breakfast, and the session can start on time.

Networking Reception 

The Networking Reception will held in the Exhibition Area of the Symposium - Southern Cross Ballroom. The function will start right after the workshop sessions conclude for the day, at 5:00 pm. 

Symposium Cocktail Function

This year’s Symposium Cocktail Function will be held at an offsite venue: Bathers Beach House (6/47 Mews Rd, Fremantle WA 6160). It is a short walk from the Symposium venue. The function will start at 6:00 pm and will conclude at 9:00 pm.

Photographs and Videos

Photographs and videos of delegates and other attendees will be taken during the symposium and reproduced for promotional purposes including print and electronic media, and may be posted on the internet and official social media platforms.

As part of registration, I consent to having my photo/video taken.

Cancellations

If you are no longer able to attend, please email alasymposium2025@conferencenational.com.au who will be able to review your registration, however we cannot offer any refunds at this point.
